Cleaning And Other Matters Before Installation Of Drain Cover

Nov 14, 2020

1. Excavation of foundation pit. Ensure that there is a space of 100-200 mm at the bottom and sides of the trench for the concrete or mortar cushion. In this process, it is necessary to fully understand the local rainstorm intensity, ground paving form, water catchment area, slope and outlet location. Of course, the load-bearing, landscape needs, and special needs must also be fully considered.

2. Select the location of the falling well. Since the connection position of the drainage ditch and the municipal pipeline has been planned for the on-site drainage ditch, the accurate location of the dewatering well should be determined before installing the drainage ditch cover to avoid affecting its laying.

3. Laying the trench body. Clarify the height of the ditch body and the cover plate to ensure that the laying height of the ditch body does not affect the laying of the entire building material slit cover drainage ditch. Paving concrete or mortar on the bottom of the ditch facilitates the smooth laying of the ditch cover and prevents debris from entering the ditch.

4. Lay the drain cover. To avoid squeezing both sides of the trench during the construction process, cover plates should be installed before laying concrete or mortar on both sides of the trench to prevent concrete or mortar from falling into the cover plates.

5. Laying of building materials. Note that the finished surface of the paving building materials should be 2mm-4mm higher than the cover-shaped gap to ensure that the stagnant water can enter the ditch.

6. Clean the ditches. Clean up the debris in the ditch before formal use, rinse with water to ensure it is clean before use.
